All equipment such as knives, cutters, current measuring devices, information technology systems and digital relays are synchronized in operation. The stations are equipped with synchronous automatic control and monitoring systems, including SCADA systems to manage and monitor the operation of the substation. Hourly data such as transformer temperature, current, voltage, etc. are transferred to the Remote Control Center for analysis, evaluation, and optimal operation of the equipment, avoiding overloading the substation during operation.
The stations use CMIS, PSS, NEMO, GIS-PMIS, ECP programs, remote measurement data management software, transformer management software, digital transformation applications in technical management. At the same time, they use equipment control systems, security systems, etc.
Hai Duong Power Company uses modern technological equipment to inspect, detect and handle defects on the 110 kV power grid such as thermal cameras, PD local discharge meters, Flycam, long-range zoom cameras, etc.
Putting unmanned transformer stations into operation with software applications helps monitor and evaluate the “health” of the grid, ensuring technical management. At the same time, it contributes to improving labor productivity, meeting the requirements of grid modernization and automation according to the Smart Grid Development Project in Vietnam.
Hai Duong Power Company is managing the 110 kV grid with 23 transformer stations with 50 transformers with a total capacity of more than 2,247 MVA. Of which, 18 transformer stations with 35 transformers are the property of the unit; the 110 kV line with 44 bays and branches with a total length of nearly 430 km is the property of the electricity industry, accounting for 98.8% of the total number of 110 kV lines...
