Urgently repair and renovate National Highway 17B section through Kim Thanh district

According to the Management Board of Maintenance Projects and Traffic Infrastructure of Hai Duong Province (Department of Construction), the project to repair damaged roadbeds and surfaces and improve the traffic safety system on National Highway 17B through Kim Thanh District started on April 28. Previously, in October 2024, the Vietnam Road Administration approved the project to repair damaged foundation and surface of National Highway 17B, section km17+900 - km20+500, including many items, with a total investment of nearly 15.6 billion VND.

The project is invested by the Management Board of Maintenance Projects and Transport Infrastructure (Department of Construction), construction will take 3 months and is expected to be completed on July 26, 2025.

National Highway 17B passes through Kim Thanh district, is about 14 km long, with an average road width of 5.5 m. This is a route with high traffic density.
