Also attending were representatives of leaders of ministries, branches, and central agencies; leaders of provinces and centrally-run cities; the US Ambassador to Vietnam; and the Vietnamese and US business communities.
Khoai Chau urban, eco-tourism, golf course complex is an urban, resort, eco-tourism, sports and high-class golf course complex according to international standards, deployed on a planning area of more than 990 hectares of land along the Red River located in 7 communes in Khoai Chau district.
The project consists of 4 sub-areas: Eco-residential area associated with a high-class golf course with a population of 3,500 people; Eco-residential area associated with an eco-golf course with a population of 1,800 people; Commercial and service urban area with a population of 29,700 people; Green area, thematic park.
The project has a total investment of nearly 40 trillion VND, equivalent to more than 1.5 billion USD, and will be implemented from now until the second quarter of 2029; the project's operation period is 50 years. The project's goal is to contribute to maximizing the potential and advantages of the region; gradually and effectively exploit the Red River tourism route connecting Hung Yen with Hanoi and the northern provinces.
Trump International Hung Yen represents Vietnam's clear advancement on the global real estate and resort map, while reinforcing the international market's confidence in the country's long-term development potential in the luxury real estate segment. The project is considered a declaration of the stature, integration and strong aspirations of Hung Yen province and Vietnam in the new era.
Mr. Dang Thanh Tam, Chairman of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation, said that right from the first discussions with Trump Organization, Kinh Bac City realized that Hung Yen had the potential to become a leading golf and lifestyle destination in Asia - and with outstanding experience in developing world-class golf courses, the two sides were excited to realize this vision. Kinh Bac and its Vietnamese partners are committed to ensuring construction progress and quality so that after 2 years, the project will be handed over to Trump Group for management, operation, exploitation and development.

Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van expressed his joy when Trump Group chose Hung Yen to invest in the project, affirming the investment environment, as well as the potential and location of the province. Hung Yen commits to accompany the investor in clearing the project site; providing maximum support in terms of procedures during the project implementation process; coordinating with the investor to thoroughly handle any problems arising during the implementation process so that the project can be completed on schedule.
Speaking at the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the 135th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh and the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2; reviewing the process of overcoming many difficulties and hardships caused by the war, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh believes that under the leadership of the Party, the management of the State, the National Assembly, the Government, and the consensus of the people, we will build a more dignified and beautiful Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers as Uncle Ho always wished.
The Prime Minister said that the groundbreaking of the Khoai Chau urban complex, eco-tourism, and golf course project affirms the confidence of foreign investors, including US investors, in Vietnam. In fact, many leading US corporations such as Intel, Nike, Apple, Boeing, Nvidia, etc. are expanding their investments, affirming their confidence in Vietnam's business environment.
The project also contributes to promoting the rapid and sustainable development of Hung Yen province and Vietnam in general in the direction of green, clean and beautiful; enhancing the brand value of Hung Yen province and Vietnam in the international arena. Through the project, the investor transfers smart management technology, creates jobs and livelihoods for people, especially in Hung Yen; at the same time affirms the good relationship between Vietnam and the United States.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested ministries and branches to continue to support Hung Yen province and investors in implementing the project, completing it on schedule, so that after 2 years of completion, it can welcome the APEC 2027 Summit Week held in Vietnam; promote the development of Hung Yen province's services to a new level; contribute to promoting the Vietnam - US relationship to become increasingly deeper, more substantial and effective.
Emphasizing that during his first term as President of the United States, President D. Trump visited Vietnam twice and was welcomed by the Vietnamese people, showing respect and appreciation for the goodwill and importance of the Vietnam-US relationship, contributing to creating an environment of peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam wishes to welcome President D. Trump to visit Vietnam again to encourage the spirit of peace-loving, for the development goals of each country and the world of the Vietnamese people.
Considering that the project commencement is just the beginning, there is still a lot of work to do in the coming time, especially in site clearance and construction implementation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested central ministries, branches and Hung Yen province to continue to coordinate and support investors and contractors to implement the project to ensure progress and quality; and remove difficulties and obstacles if any.
Thanking the people for giving up land for the project, the Prime Minister hopes that the people will continue to support and create favorable conditions for the project implementation, serving the rapid, sustainable, green, clean and beautiful development of Hung Yen province; requesting the Party Committee, the government of Hung Yen province and investors to pay attention to stabilizing the lives and livelihoods of the people, ensuring that the people have new housing that is better than the old one.
Emphasizing that Hung Yen (Pho Hien) - a small land but carrying great spirit - a land rich in cultural traditions, revolutionary heroes, which used to be the busiest commercial port of our country with the saying "First the Capital, second Pho Hien", the Prime Minister believes that Hung Yen province will inherit and promote traditions, continue to have breakthrough, solid and comprehensive developments in many fields, together with the whole country entering a new era - the era of national growth as General Secretary To Lam pointed out.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh believes that with the attention of the authorities at all levels of Hung Yen province and the efforts of investors, the project will be completed in the shortest possible time and will be a great success; the cooperation between the Trump Group and Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation will be increasingly effective; the Trump International Hung Yen project will bring benefits to investors and people of the two countries, contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
