According to the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, the training course took place from December 8th to 17th. As a result, 119 out of 126 trainees, who are full-time/part-time officials and civil servants specializing in information technology (responsible for digital transformation) from 95 communes and wards in the province and various departments and agencies, completed the course and received certificates. Most trainees demonstrated a solid understanding of the fundamental knowledge and practical skills. The group exercises on developing grassroots-level digital transformation projects were well-structured, highly feasible, and closely aligned with the practical needs of each locality.

This training course focuses on four main pillars: an overview of the national digital transformation program and methods for building a digital transformation roadmap at the unit level; data analysis skills, planning, and project risk management based on KPIs/OKRs (key objectives and results); the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in the public sector to automate administrative processes; information security, network scanning skills, and digital data protection…

As experts and officials in charge of digital transformation, I urge the trainees, upon returning to their units, to boldly advise their leaders to immediately apply the knowledge they have learned to build or adjust the digital transformation roadmap at their respective agencies to suit practical realities.”

At the same time, they emphasized the need for vigilance and a focus on information security, protecting the unit's digital data against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
