At 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, October 21, Tri An Hydropower Plant will discharge spillway to regulate the reservoir.

On October 20, Tri An Hydropower Company said that at 10:00 a.m. on October 20, the upstream water level of the lake was 61.453 m; the downstream water level at the plant was 2.5 m; the water flow through the turbine on October 19 was 500 m3/s.

On October 21, Tri An Hydropower Plant will discharge spillway to regulate the reservoir.

To ensure flood prevention capacity, the company discharges water through the reservoir's spillway as follows:

- Implementation time: 2:00 p.m. on October 21.

- Water flow through spillway: 160m ³ /s; water flow through turbine: from 750m ³ /s to 820m ³ /s; total water flow discharged downstream from 910m ³ /s to 980m ³ /s.

Depending on the weather, the water level of Tri An hydroelectric reservoir, the water level downstream of the river at Bien Hoa Hydrological Station, the company can change the water flow through the spillway. The company informs relevant units and local authorities to direct, coordinate and notify people downstream of the reservoir to proactively take preventive measures to avoid possible damage.
