2 Lao Cai Ward Police officers donate blood to save a critically ill patient

On August 22, two police officers from Lao Cai Ward donated blood at General Hospital No. 2 (Lao Cai Province), helping a patient overcome a critical condition.

After reading information on social media about a patient being treated at General Hospital No. 2 who urgently needed type B blood, Major Nguyen Trong Luc and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tung - officers of Lao Cai Ward Police quickly verified the information, reported to the commander and urgently went to the hospital to donate blood.

Major Nguyen Trong Luc and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tung donated blood to save patients.

After performing the tests and getting the required results, Major Nguyen Trong Luc and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tung donated 2 units of blood, promptly helping patient Vuong Thi Diem (78 years old, Tay ethnic group, Khanh Yen commune) overcome the critical condition.

Previously, these two comrades and some colleagues at Lao Cai Ward Police had participated in voluntary blood donation many times.

The meaningful actions of two Lao Cai Ward Police officers demonstrated the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", "When the people need it, when the people are in trouble, there is the police", contributing to strengthening the relationship between the army and the people in protecting security and order in the area.
