3,000 international cruise ship tourists visit Ho Chi Minh City

The Celebrity Solstice ship carrying more than 3,000 tourists from the US, Canada, UK, Australia... docked at Phu My port (Tan Phuoc ward, Ho Chi Minh City) this morning, November 10.

On November 10, the Celebrity Solstice ship brought more than 3,000 tourists from the US, Canada, UK, Australia... to Phu My port, starting the tour of Ho Chi Minh City - Hue - Ha Long. Saigontourist Travel directly served and picked up tourists.

Up to now, on November 18, Saigontourist Travel will simultaneously welcome 3 international cruise ships including Celebrity Solstice, Star Navigator (docking at Ha Long port, Quang Ninh) and Star Voyager (docking at Cam Ranh port, Khanh Hoa ), serving more than 6,000 multinational guests. The company mobilized more than 100 45-seat vehicles and a team of tour guides in English, German, French, Chinese... to serve tourists.

At domestic stops, tourists visit Hue, Hoi An, My Son, Ba Na, Da Nang ..., and experience many unique cultural activities such as cycling around the old town and learning to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes.

Mr. Phan Xuan Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Travel Company, informed that from now until the end of the year, many luxury cruise ships will return to our country, a significant increase compared to the same period last year. Most of the ships dock at Saigon or Hiep Phuoc ports, convenient for visiting the inner city.

After the Cai Mep – Thi Vai port cluster temporarily stopped receiving international cruise ships in mid-October, the cruise ship schedule to Ho Chi Minh City has now stabilized again. Tens of thousands of cruise ship passengers have rushed back to Vietnam. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, in October 2025, Ho Chi Minh City welcomed about 705,000 international visitors, bringing the total number of visitors in the first 10 months of the year to 6.59 million (reaching 65.9% of the yearly plan). Domestic visitors reached more than 33 million (66.2% of the plan). Tourism revenue in the first 10 months is estimated at VND208,066 billion, equivalent to 71.7% of the yearly target of VND290,000 billion.
