(CLO) The organizers said that it is estimated that about 30,000 people and tourists attended the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024 at locations after the first two days. However, this number is only estimated at locations with entrance gates, and other open spaces have not yet been counted.

Accordingly, outdoor workshops, fairs, and amusement parks were all crowded with participants, and conference rooms were almost full. Among them, the “Indochinese Senses” Exhibition Complex at the University of Natural Sciences (General University) welcomed 10,000 visitors on November 10 alone; on the same day, the “Children’s Palace – Memories for the Future” Exhibition Complex also welcomed more than 8,000 people.

The creative spaces and exhibitions at the University of Natural Sciences, the University of General Sciences building (No. 19 Le Thanh Tong), are considered “hot spots” that welcome a large number of people and tourists. Since morning, many visitors have lined up in the hallway to wait their turn to admire the exhibitions and the architectural beauty of the building.

In addition, at heritage sites that are opening for the first time such as the Government Guest House (Bac Bo Phu), some groups of visitors have chosen to experience the "Creative Tour" with the guidance of "professional companions" from travel agencies and the Tubudd platform, or at the Hanoi Children's Palace with the curated tour "Hanoi Children's Palace: Memories for the future"; helping visitors understand more information and interesting stories "heard for the first time" surrounding this heritage site.

The creative community interactive activities on the Festival route have attracted a large number of children, families and young people to participate in the past days, such as: the interactive space "Crossroad of Memories", the experience of the Painting Competition on the yard, the workshop series "Small looms", Weaving mist, the experience series "I love STEM science" at the Children's Palace, the workshop "Sowing the seeds of cultural art of leaf painting with folk materials", "Planting trees to sow seeds - Making handicrafts from folk graphics" at Co Tan flower garden, the creative playground "FRONT ROW style Station" on Trang Tien street...

The auditoriums hosting seminars and discussions held in recent days were also almost full, such as the discussion "Cu Li Khong Bao Nhat Cuong: Thinking about the city as a movie character" at the Children's Palace, the discussion "Using folk cultural materials in creation" at the National History Museum... The special point is that these highly professional discussion programs have the participation of many young people, both as speakers and audience members, sharing and giving opinions; showing that the meaning of promoting the spirit of young creativity of the Festival has truly spread.

From now until November 17, 2024, exhibitions, art programs, community activities... will continue to take place. Visiting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day. Particularly, the Hanoi Children's Palace and Trang Tien Street will be open in the evening until 9:30 p.m. on weekends (November 16 and 17).

The attic area of the building will also stop receiving new visitors from 16:30 if the queue is still long and new visitors arriving after 16:30 will be guided to visit other activities in the area.

For places of special interest to the public and visitors, the opening hours may be adjusted to avoid overcrowding and ensure the safety of all visitors. Any adjustments will be announced on the Festival's official website and fanpage.

To serve the public who come to visit and experience the activities at the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024, the Organizing Committee has mobilized a team of nearly 300 enthusiastic and dynamic young volunteers who will be present at the Festival's activity locations. Carefully selected and well-trained, these volunteers not only provide information but are also creative ambassadors, ready to support visitors with detailed information about the activities taking place within the framework of the Festival.
