According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on November 22, in the Central Highlands region, floods gradually receded but flooding still persisted and flash floods were warned to be possible.
Currently, the flood on the Krong Ana River, Dong Nai River, Ba River ( Dak Lak ), and Dinh Ninh Hoa River (Khanh Hoa) is receding. In the next 10 hours, the flood on the Krong Ana River will continue to recede and will be above alert level 3, and the Dong Nai River will continue to recede and will be above alert level 2.
In the next 10-24 hours, flood on Krong Ana river will continue to decrease and be above alert level 3, Dong Nai river will continue to decrease and be above alert level 2.
Warning: In the next 24 hours, flood on Dinh Ninh Hoa River will continue to decrease and will be at alert level 2-3; flood downstream of Ba River at Phu Lam station will fluctuate below alert level 1; flood on Srepok River (Dak Lak) at Ban Don station will fluctuate above alert level 3.
Flooding is still occurring in provinces/cities from Dak Lak to Khanh Hoa. There is a risk of flash floods on rivers and streams and landslides on slopes in provinces/cities from Dak Lak to Khanh Hoa.
Weather forecast at sea on the day and night of November 22, North East Sea (including Hoang Sa) has Northeast wind level 6-7, gust 8-9; waves 4-6m; rough sea.
From South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai and the North of the East Sea, there are winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of 8-9; waves of 4-6m; rough seas.
The sea area from Gia Lai to Ho Chi Minh City has Northeast wind level 6, gusts 7-8; waves 3-5m; rough sea. The sea area from Dong Thap to Ca Mau: wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts 7; waves 2-4m; rough sea.
The Central and Southern East Sea, the sea area from Southern Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Southern Gulf of Thailand will have showers and thunderstorms; risk of tornadoes and gusts of wind of level 6-7.
