A luxurious space like a resort or a Mediterranean oasis in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City is what diners can experience when visiting these 4 coffee shops.

Amidst the dense map of shops, many coffee shops in Ho Chi Minh City have had to invest in spaces that do not overlap with other shops, many indoor and outdoor check-in corners, upgrade menus and service quality to attract customers.

You can go to the cafes below for a new experience after a long week of studying and working.

Barbaro Coffee

Located in the premises of AAstudiodesign, the shop impresses with its luxurious two-sided architecture, in the trendy Italian style. The space of the shop is not too large, including the ground floor and the outdoor area. The layout is also quite simple, with only a bar counter and a few tables and chairs.

The highlight of the outdoor space is the resort-like swimming pool with clear blue water, where you can swim or paddle a SUP comfortably. There are many trees planted around, and the rocks are artistically arranged to create a harmonious landscape for the pool. If you want to take pictures, you should go early in the morning or in the afternoon, when the weather is mildly sunny.

The menu does not have many choices, only 6 items such as cappuccino, espresso, latte, tea, kombucha, chocolate. All are served hot. In addition to drinks, the shop also has a few types of cakes and an ice cream counter with many flavors.

Espresso and latte are the two best sellers.

The quality of the dishes is not consistent. Cappuccino and espresso are okay, fragrant and have the right flavor. Chocolate, tea, latte, and kombucha are quite bland, not worth the price.

In return, the consultants are enthusiastic and attentive to each customer.

Dalaland.saigon

The restaurant is designed like an oasis in Mediterranean style with white and blue as the main color, and is decorated with many beautiful miniatures for customers to take pictures. The atmosphere here is quite quiet and airy, but if you come on the weekend, it will be very crowded.

The space of the restaurant is very large, including 2 floors, each floor has a koi pond. The first floor has no roof, the view is directly facing Landmark 81 and the Metro station, only suitable for relaxing in the shade or at night.

The ground floor has both indoor and outdoor air-conditioned spaces for those who like to enjoy the fresh air, sip water and watch the koi fish swimming around. However, the outdoor area is quite hot despite the many trees.

The menu revolves around basic drinks such as coffee, juice, smoothies. You can try mocha, silver tea or peach tea, melon tea. The most prominent are fruit teas with some new flavors such as lemongrass tea with aloe vera, oolong tea, wild cherry tea. In addition, the shop also serves coconut, matcha and chocolate ice cream.

The drinks are simply decorated, but the flavors are not impressive. Some fruit teas are a bit bland, with no distinct fruit flavor. The size of the drink is small, but the price is quite high.

Friendly and enthusiastic staff, sometimes service is a bit slow because the restaurant is large and has a lot of customers.

Chidori Coffee in Bed

This is the pioneer of the Japanese-style bed cafe model in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to the branch on Su Van Hanh Street, the shop has 6 other branches spread across streets such as Vo Oanh, Vinh Vien, Pasteur, Dinh Tien Hoang, Lam Son, and Hoa Cau.

The main color scheme of the shop is brown wood and white, creating a cozy feeling. There are not many tables and chairs like normal coffee shops, but the design is bunk beds like a dormitory. Each room is fully equipped with items such as mattresses, pillows, tables, lamps, mini fans, power outlets... suitable for office workers and students who need a quiet place to study and work.

The Su Van Hanh branch has additional outdoor spaces with many tables and chairs, neatly decorated for customers to sit and chat together or take photos.

The downside is that the ladder to the upper bunk is difficult to climb, and the curtains are a bit short. According to some customers, each room has a camera to “ensure proper use of the space,” so there is not much privacy.

The menu is quite diverse, with a mix of Vietnamese coffee, juices, and Japanese tea and milk tea. The most outstanding dishes are Japanese roasted rice milk tea and Japanese roasted tea set. Japanese roasted rice milk tea is rich and fragrant. The Japanese roasted tea set has a moderate taste, not too strong, and does not cause insomnia. You can try some more cakes and food.

The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. After each guest, the staff vacuums and cleans the room.

Square 39

Address : Street No. 3, Thu Duc City

Opening hours : 7am-11pm

Price : From 30,000 VND/dish

The shop is located on the top floor of the complex, combining comfortable camping and enjoying coffee. The space is mainly outdoors, without air conditioning, so sitting at noon is quite hot, but the shop is equipped with a steam cooling system.

The seating area is designed like a real camping tent with full equipment such as pans, pots, kettles, etc. In front of the tent are folding tables and chairs for customers to sit and drink coffee and chat. Inside the tent, there are also clean carpets so that large groups of guests can sit comfortably.

The menu is quite diverse, including coffee, juice, blended ice, smoothies, yogurt. The taste of the drinks is average, not too special, the decoration is also quite simple but reasonable compared to the price. The shop's croissants are delicious, soft, moist and fragrant with butter.

The restaurant staff are young, polite and serve quickly. In addition, the restaurant also scores points for using paper eating utensils to protect the environment.

The Travel - Cuisine section presents readers with "bedside" books for those who love housework. Regardless of street food or luxury restaurants, each dish and each cooking style has its own story, secrets that not everyone knows.
