In the new school year, Hanoi continues to prioritize increasing investment resources in facilities and teaching equipment towards solidification, modernization, standardization, national standards and international integration.
Hanoi also focuses on consulting on investment for schools with financial difficulties, as well as schools in the process of re-accreditation or newly accredited to meet national standards in the 2021-2030 period.
The city aims to have about 80-85% of public schools meeting national standards by 2025; and about 85-90% by 2030.

Recently, at the conference to summarize the pilot project of integrated training program (dual degree), Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that Hanoi will continue to implement the dual degree training program in public schools.
Accordingly, from now on, public schools in Hanoi will be able to train models of equitable education.
“Previously, the dual diploma pilot training was only focused on 2 public high schools and 7 public middle schools, the rest were private schools. But now it can be said that all public schools in Hanoi can participate. The Board of Directors of the Department of Education and Training will be determined to implement it in the coming period. All public schools in Hanoi, if they have the need, meet the conditions and wishes of parents and register, the Director of the Department of Education and Training will certainly allow the implementation. This is a condition that demonstrates fairness in education,” said Mr. Cuong.
Mr. Cuong said that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will consult on many mechanisms and policies related to salary regimes for teachers, and how to create the best conditions to take care of the legitimate interests of the team.
