48 hours with blockchain and AI at Conviction 2025

Taking place on August 9-10 in Ho Chi Minh City, Conviction 2025 is a regional event on new technologies such as blockchain and AI. Vietnam is one of the markets that is highly appreciated globally for its awareness of digital currency, possessing many outstanding projects. However, ordinary users still do not have a comprehensive view of blockchain solutions.

With 48 hours of events and a number of highly specialized speakers working in many segments of the blockchain ecosystem, attendees will have a knowledge base to approach new technology. This is also an opportunity to expand connections, seek opportunities to join Vietnamese blockchain startups, and develop products globally.

Two stages

Taking place at Thiskyhall, one of the largest event centers in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizers of Conviction 2025 designed two parallel stages for attendees to choose the topics they want to follow. The Vision Stage focuses on legal issues, macro vision for the Vietnamese technology industry and global products.

Meanwhile, Innovation Stage is a place to share in-depth information about blockchain solutions, core technologies, cryptocurrency investments, etc. This playground is more specialized, for those who already have prior knowledge of blockchain and want to grasp market trends. In particular, Innovation Stage becomes useful for industry personnel and developers who are working on products.

During the two days of Conviction 2025, more than 40 presentations and discussions will take place throughout, providing the audience with an overview of this industry in Vietnam and neighboring countries.

In addition, a series of new technology products will be introduced for the first time at the event taking place in Ho Chi Minh City. According to Mr. Phan Vu Tuan, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Electronic Communications Association, the application for tracing product origin and protecting intellectual property will be launched for the first time at Conviction 2025.

In addition to the main event, there are also a series of side programs, organized by the participating projects. Participants can freely attend activities led by IVY, Dagora, TCVN or Eternals.

Legal for digital assets

As the legal framework for the blockchain industry in Vietnam gradually improves, large-scale technology events play an important role in promoting connections between domestic and international experts, businesses and investors. Sharing from domestic and international legislators and experts on the management direction for digital assets is the most important topic at Conviction 2025.

The panel discussion “Digital Asset Regulations and the Participation of Vietnamese Organizations” was one of the notable presentations of the first day of the event. The program had the participation of Mr. Will Ross, Director of Marketing & Distribution, Dragon Capital; Ms. Vy Le, Co-founder & Managing Director of Do Ventures; and Dr. Pham Huy, Senior Lecturer in Finance & Head of FinTech - Crypto, RMIT University Vietnam.

In the afternoon of the same day, international experts from blockchain analysis company Chainalysis, investment fund Galaxy Trading, blockchain project Hashkey and Lydian Labs shared their perspectives on the operations of financial institutions and digital assets in Southeast Asia.

In terms of products, domestic blockchain startups such as Thanh Le (Ninety Eight), Andy Ho (Sky Mavis), Anik Dang (ReneVerse), Manh Le (Kyber Network) also participated in the topic of Vietnamese teams creating products to serve the world. These businesses have many years of developing blockchain applications, highly appreciated platforms and have reached the billion-dollar capitalization milestone.
