Lunch at Le Quy Don High School this afternoon

Confirming with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, a leader of Saigon Hospital confirmed that this afternoon, the hospital received 5 students from Le Quy Don High School (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) with symptoms of food poisoning.

Accordingly, when admitted to the hospital emergency room, the student said he had lunch at school and vomited.

The doctor said the hospital had performed tests, taken samples, rehydrated and administered intestinal antibiotics to the student.

Currently, according to the leader of Saigon Hospital, 5 students from Le Quy Don High School are still being treated at the hospital for "electrolyte rehydration and antibiotics because tests showed signs of infection".

This incident has parents and students worried about the school's lunches. "The school needs to quickly investigate and come up with solutions to ensure food safety for students," a parent of a student at the school shared.

The reporter contacted the Board of Directors of Le Quy Don High School but has not received any response. Thanh Nien Newspaper will continue to update information on this incident.
