National Scientific Conference Tan Trao Congress – The role of Tuyen Quang and historical lessons

On the morning of August 8, at the Provincial Political School, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee to organize the National Scientific Conference on Tan Trao Congress - The role of Tuyen Quang and historical lessons for building the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the new era of national development.

The National Congress in Tan Trao commune is a typical example of national solidarity.

In his welcome speech at the workshop, comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized: Tuyen Quang is a land rich in cultural traditions and long-standing history, with an important strategic position in the country. In the process of construction and development, the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province have built, preserved and passed down unique historical and cultural values, fostering a tradition of patriotism, solidarity, diligence, creativity, bravery and resilience, contributing to glorifying the heroic history of our nation.

When mentioning the Tan Trao National Congress, we cannot help but mention the special role of the Capital of the Liberated Zone and the great contributions of the People of Tuyen Quang. History has chosen Tuyen Quang - a land that has all the elements of "heavenly time, favorable terrain, and harmony of people" to organize the National Congress, and at the same time is the strategic rear base in terms of politics, military and logistics of the revolution, where the strength of the entire people in the resistance war converges and spreads.

The National Congress event in Tan Trao commune is a typical demonstration of the spirit of national solidarity, the aspiration for independence and freedom and the strength gathered from the people.   During the long resistance war against French colonialism, Tuyen Quang continued to have the honor of becoming the Resistance Capital - the residence and workplace of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Central Committee, the Government and many central agencies, departments, ministries and branches .

Those glorious historical pages with profound values ​​remain intact today, creating vitality for the work of building a rule-of-law State and innovating the political system in a streamlined, effective and efficient direction, bringing the country into a new era to build a peaceful, developed, powerful, prosperous and happy Vietnam.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing issues such as: The role of President Ho Chi Minh in organizing the Tan Trao National Congress; The Tan Trao National Congress with the victory of the August Revolution - 1945, historical value; from the Tan Trao National Congress to the Declaration of Independence and the right to live freely and happily of the People; Tan Trao commune promotes the spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the National Congress in economic and social development, improving the people's lives today; From Tan Trao to Hanoi: The historical journey of building Vietnamese democracy; promoting the value, significance and historical stature of the Tan Trao National Congress in building local governments to serve the people...

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Prof. Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, affirmed that the opinions expressed at the workshop contributed to clarifying a number of main contents such as: Affirming the stature, significance and value of the Tan Trao National Congress in the historical process of the nation in general and the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam in particular; analyzing and clarifying the role of Tuyen Quang in creating a special political space for the Tan Trao National Congress and lessons in building a "streamlined - compact - strong - effective - efficient - effective" government in Tuyen Quang province today; promoting the historical value of the Tan Trao National Congress for building the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the new era of the nation.

The results of today's workshop are a scientific basis, providing important documents for relevant authorities to advise and propose mechanisms and policies based on inheriting the historical lessons of the Tan Trao National Congress to continue building and improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the new era of national development.
