59 contestants entered the final round of Miss World Vietnam 2023

On May 29, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organizing Committee of the Miss World Vietnam 2023 pageant announced the National Final Round and the contest schedule. The Top 59 contestants were fully introduced to the public for the first time. Miss Mai Phuong also announced the charity project brought to Miss World this year.

According to the organizers, the National Final Round will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from May 24 to June 11. The National Final Night will be held on June 11, selecting candidates to enter the National Final Round in July in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh).

Candidates will demonstrate their talents in competitions such as: Miss Tourism, Miss Talent, Miss Charity, Miss Sports , Miss Sea. In addition, exchange activities at historical sites and local sightseeing will be a lever to help promote the Vietnamese tourism brand.

The judges of this year's contest are: Master Pham Kim Dung, Head of the Organizing Committee, Head of the Jury; Miss Luong Thuy Linh, Deputy Head of the Jury; Miss Tran Tieu Vy; Miss Do Ha; Designer Le Thanh Hoa; Actress Van Trang. Another judge will be announced in the near future.

According to the organizers, in the Miss Tourism contest, contestants will make videos promoting their hometowns and post them on social networks. The 5 contestants with the best results will participate in tourism promotion activities in Binh Dinh province. In the Miss Charity contest, contestants will be divided into groups and carry out 4 to 6 inspirational projects that are useful to the community... In addition, contestants will participate in fashion shows with collections by famous designers.

“This year, we do not “hide” the finalists like every year, the audience needs to get to know the contestants. This year’s contest has many livestream activities so that the contestants appear more in front of the public to know more information about the contestants. If any contestant has negative information, the audience will also help verify the information,” said the Head of the contest’s Organizing Committee.

On the same day, Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong announced a charity project for Miss World 2023. Specifically, she established a fashion brand called "Yako by Mai Phuong". This is a non-profit activity to raise funds for charity projects, with profits from the project used to carry out charity projects.

Continuing the fashion project, Miss Mai Phuong and her management company plan to build a “Laundry House” project near hospitals where patients and their relatives often stay for long-term treatment such as Oncology Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital… to support them in finding jobs. It is expected that each store will support 5-6 people.
