On December 27, the Vietnam Writers Association announced the list of 2023 Literature Awards. Accordingly, this year's awards were given to 3 prose works; 1 poetry work; 1 theoretical and critical work and 1 children's literature work.

Specifically, the prose award was given to the novel “From the sixth hour to the ninth hour” by writer Nguyen Mot, published by the Writers Association Publishing House; the novel “Absolutely no trace” by writer Nguyen Viet Ha, published by the Tre Publishing House; and the short story collection “A summer under the shade of a tree” by writer Nguyen Tham Thien Ke, published by the Writers Association Publishing House.
The poetry prize was awarded to the collection "Dong Sen Tan" by poet Nguyen Phuc Loc Thanh, published by the Writers Association Publishing House.
The Criticism Theory Prize was awarded to the work "Literary Autonomy and the Mission of Freedom" by two authors Phung Ngoc Kien and Doan Anh Duong, published by the Writers' Association Publishing House.
The children's literature award went to the story collection "Linh Fish Goes to School" by writer Le Quang Trang, published by Kim Dong Publishing House.
