In the first 6 months of the year, the Red Cross chapters at all levels in the province mobilized nearly 72,000 gifts, with a total value of more than 38.6 billion VND (an increase of 28% over the same period in 2024, reaching 97% of the plan) to support poor and near-poor households, people in difficult circumstances, victims of Agent Orange and vulnerable groups. At the same time, the chapters at all levels provided medical examinations, provided free medicine, and gave gifts to children in difficult circumstances; disseminated information on first aid, traffic safety, environmental sanitation and disease prevention and control to nearly 15,100 people. Along with that, the whole province organized 38 voluntary blood donation campaigns, attracting more than 15,000 participants; as a result, more than 12,760 units of donated blood were received, reaching 50.1% of the year's target...

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded the emulation flag of excellent unit in 2024 to 1 collective, awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the association's work and the Red Cross movement for 2 consecutive years 2023 - 2024; awarded the "For the humanitarian cause" medal to 25 individuals. The Provincial Red Cross Society commended 17 individuals with many contributions to the association's work and the provincial Red Cross movement.
