Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy and the working delegation inspected the facilities of the public administrative service center in Thoai Son district.
This is an important preparatory step to ensure that these units are ready for trial operation on June 22 and officially put into operation from July 1, 2025.
The delegation conducted a survey of the layout of the office and necessary equipment for leaders and specialized departments. In particular, the inspection focused on ensuring the electricity, water, Internet, and camera systems, along with the installation of department nameplates and new headquarters signs. Online meeting rooms in communes were also thoroughly inspected to ensure stable transmission lines and equipment, effectively serving the direction and operation work.
At the new commune public administration service center, the delegation inspected equipment such as: computers, printers, scanners, automatic numbering systems, satisfaction assessment boards, brand identity systems and reception counters... The goal is to ensure stable and smooth network connections and software operation.
During the inspection, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy reminded the leaders of Chau Thanh and Thoai Son districts to continue to pay attention to directing and monitoring the trial operation of the new commune-level political system. At the same time, she emphasized the importance of promptly making proposals and recommendations when encountering difficulties so that the relevant agencies can resolve them quickly and promptly.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee especially noted that the archives in the new communes must ensure the required facilities to safely and effectively preserve important documents and papers. Specialized departments and public administrative service centers in the new communes need to continue to study their functions and tasks to achieve the highest efficiency when officially operating. At the same time, it is required that the administrative procedure processing process must take place smoothly and without interruption, demonstrating the readiness and seriousness of the staff and civil servants in approaching and operating the new model. The implementation of the 2-level local government model must ensure the correct progress, goals and requirements, creating a solid foundation for the apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently.
Currently, the new communes are making the most of existing assets, in the spirit of ensuring the most favorable working conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to successfully complete their assigned tasks.
