- These days, generations of journalists in Khanh Hoa in particular and the whole country in general are living in the glorious atmosphere of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. The baggage that journalists carry is the people's trust and expectation in the voice of the press - the bridge between the Party's will and the people's hearts. On June 21 this year, we are even more proud that on the bright milestones of the nation's history, there are strong marks of the Vietnamese revolutionary press. During the years of resistance, the Vietnamese revolutionary press became a sharp political weapon to fight against foreign invaders and their lackeys. Amidst the fire of war, journalists went to battle with the posture of soldiers, holding both pens and guns to fight. Hundreds of martyr journalists have heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, adding more color to the glorious traditional flag of the country's revolutionary press. Entering the period of peace, innovation and integration, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has integrated itself into the flow of practical life, clearly demonstrating its role in leading ideology, orienting public opinion, spreading trust, responsibility and aspirations for development to all classes of people; successfully implementing the innovation policy initiated and led by the Party.
- How do you perceive the role of the press in contributing to promoting the development of the country's socio -economy, especially in the context of the whole country entering a new era?
- The revolutionary press of our country was founded and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh, so since its inception, it has carried the mission of a shock force, contributing effectively to the cause of national liberation and national construction. Over the past century, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has affirmed its pioneering role and the trusted voice of the Party, the State and the people. The press has promptly and comprehensively reflected the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; the great achievements of historical significance that our country has achieved in the struggle for national independence and freedom and national renewal. Along with reflecting truthfully and vividly the political, economic, cultural, social, defense, security and foreign affairs life of the country, the press also propagates and spreads the moral values and good lifestyles of the Vietnamese people, inspiring examples in all areas of social life with the spirit of "using beauty to eliminate ugliness".

A meaningful coincidence is that the Vietnamese revolutionary press is entering a new development journey at the exact moment when the country is entering a new era, an era of national growth. Therefore, journalists, in addition to continuing to maintain their steadfast political will, bright mind, humanistic spirit, integrity and loyalty to the profession, must also light the fire of innovation and creativity. Because only by effectively realizing successful innovation and creativity models can the press develop in a truly sustainable, professional, creative and humane manner.
- So, in the flow of the country's revolutionary press, what contributions have press activities in Khanh Hoa province made, sir?
- Over the past years, members, reporters, and journalists, with their efforts and responsibilities, have widely and clearly disseminated the results of socio-economic development, national defense and security; actively disseminated Party building work, and brought the Party's resolutions into life... Among the many achievements of the province in all fields, there is an important contribution from press agencies that have performed well their functions and tasks in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, orienting public opinion, and fighting and refuting bad and toxic information. Khanh Hoa press has also actively innovated strongly from content to form, especially promoting digital transformation, building press agencies, press works, and communications in a modern, multimedia direction. More and more important events of the province are reported, broadcast live, and livestreamed on official channels and social networking platforms. From there, create interaction, reach out, attract a large number of readers and viewers to increase public interest.
The press has accompanied the province to strongly propagate and widely promote the image of civilized and friendly Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to domestic and international friends, especially strongly propagating the Central's resolutions on building and developing Khanh Hoa province. With its role, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association has constantly developed, linked members operating locally, proactively and actively propagating the achievements in developing Khanh Hoa province...
