BHG - On the morning of June 17, the Provincial People's Committee organized a drill on rescue plans with the mobilization of forces, vehicles, and assets of many local agencies and organizations at the Stadium of the Provincial Sports and Culture Complex. Attending the drill were comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, departments, branches, agencies, units, enterprises, and the People's Committee of Ha Giang City.

The provincial rescue drill was divided into two parts: the mechanism part and the actual part. The drill mobilized 138 people along with 10 specialized vehicles, fire trucks, rescue vehicles, cranes, excavators and professional vehicles of functional units. The hypothetical situation was a scaffolding collapse during construction at the A stand area, belonging to the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex Stadium. The hypothetical accident injured many workers and engineers, some of whom were trapped in the rubble, requiring urgent access and rescue. Immediately after the incident occurred, the on-site forces quickly activated the initial response plan. At the same time, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) of the Provincial Police and support units were mobilized to the scene, deployed a plan to search for victims and organize rescue and treatment for victims.

This exercise has synchronous coordination between forces: from grassroots forces, police, medical , military to specialized response teams. Each force develops its own plan in accordance with its assigned functions and tasks, thereby ensuring practicality and effectiveness in implementation. In particular, modern specialized means and equipment such as concrete cutters, equipment for detecting victims under rubble, emergency medical equipment... are all mobilized and used in the exercise as in real situations. The simulated situations are elaborately constructed, close to reality, from approaching victims, handling obstacles, initial first aid to medical transfer and stabilizing the scene.

Speaking at the direction, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha emphasized: The drill at the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex Stadium is large-scale, with realistic situations, an opportunity to improve combat readiness; create coordination and unity among participating units and forces; concretize the "4 on-site" motto in search and rescue work when situations arise. Thereby, contributing to improving the ability to direct, operate, coordinate and handle situations quickly and effectively, minimizing damage caused.

At the drill of the rescue plan at the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex Stadium, participating units were commended, rewarded and received gifts from the Provincial People's Committee.
