Express love for homeland and country

Right from the beginning of summer, the Provincial Children's Cultural House organized the "Red Scarf Singing" Festival for primary and secondary school students in the province. Through the rounds, under the guidance of teachers and the companionship of friends inside and outside the school, many contestants confidently demonstrated their talents and passion for music . It is worth noting that, coming to the festival, most of the children chose songs praising love and pride for their homeland and country, expressing the young generation's respect for President Ho Chi Minh. With red scarves on their shoulders, imbued with the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho to teenagers and children, along with admiration for Uncle Ho's simple life and heart, the students from Thai Binh city and Vu Thu district performed the song "Ho Chi Minh's Song" with deep emotion and gratitude. Ly Thi Van Anh, Quach Dinh Bao Primary, Secondary and High School (Thai Binh City) shared: Although we did not have much practice time and came from different schools, we tried our best to spread the spirit of solidarity to all students. I hope that you will always remember the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho and follow his example to constantly practice and study harder and harder, more passionately, and become good citizens of your homeland and country.

Elaborately staged, the songs with love for the homeland and country at the "Red Scarf Songs" Festival deeply expressed the gratitude of today's young generation to the previous generation who sacrificed for the country to have peace . Many songs with difficult performance techniques showed the process of practice, elaborate preparation and serious investment in art among students. Nguyen Hoang Gia Han, An Ninh Secondary School (Quynh Phu) said: I chose to perform the song "Continuing the story of peace" - a very famous song on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country recently, along with the desire of a young person who longs to contribute to the development of the country.

Tran Thi Yen Nhu, Binh Nguyen Primary and Secondary School (Kien Xuong) expressed: I express my love for music through the English-Vietnamese bilingual song "Hello Vietnam" which is the voice of an overseas Vietnamese looking back to his homeland. I spent a lot of time not only practicing my voice but also performing the song in English as well as possible.

Proud of traditional Cheo tunes

From being introduced to music at school, especially in the current period of learning to sing and dance Cheo in school, many students have a deep pride in the art of Cheo Thai Binh - a national intangible cultural heritage. From high school, many students have become typical nuclei actively contributing to spreading folk art in contemporary society. For Bui Duc Quang, Tran Phu Secondary School (Thai Binh City), after a passionate process of researching and learning about Cheo art, with the encouragement of his family, he practiced diligently, allocated time reasonably, and balanced between studying and developing his talent. Since then, he has participated in many art competitions, demonstrated his ability to perform Cheo and has a desire to develop in this art form. Bui Duc Quang said: I was supported by teachers, grandparents, and parents to express my Cheo singing talent through participating in art competitions. At the “Red Scarf Singing” Festival, I chose the cheo song “Singing about the Fatherland today”, composed by the late musician Bui Van Nhan to the tune of the long autumn road. I hope that students will love and cherish the traditional values of their homeland Thai Binh more.

Accompanying students of all ages through each competition, Mr. Vu Ngoc Thuong, the Jury of the “Red Scarf Singing” Festival, commented: The valuable thing about the art competitions for children in Thai Binh is that the organizers always find outstanding talents in the traditional Cheo art form. From the dedicated guidance of teachers in the school and the passion for learning of each student, the traditional Cheo art is preserved and promoted, spreading in contemporary society.

Through the artistic talents being trained and shining through competitions, we believe that the children will receive attention and guidance for their own development. Through that, the mass art movement in the province will become more and more exciting, contributing positively to the country's art garden.

Students expressed their love and respect for President Ho Chi Minh through elaborately choreographed songs.
