Green - clean - smart
Vinh Phuc is one of the leading provinces in the country in economic development and in 2025 as well as the following stages, the province sets a target of double-digit economic growth. Therefore, the province has always consistently identified industry as a fundamental and most important pillar, determining the speed of economic development.
Along with the development of industrial parks, Vinh Phuc has synchronously planned and selectively developed industrial clusters in localities to create conditions for small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, production complexes, and supporting industrial enterprises to develop. In particular, the development of industrial clusters not only contributes to job creation and income improvement for rural workers of diverse ages, but also to relocate production facilities that cause pollution or are at risk of causing environmental pollution in craft villages and residential areas to industrial clusters - an important solution to gradually solve rural environmental pollution in the province.
Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster is planned on an area of 50 hectares, with three main functional zones. The project focuses on developing clean industry, supporting industry, precision mechanics, component manufacturing, processing and product display center. The project is located directly connected to Ring Road 5, National Highway 2 and Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway. This is an area with great advantages in logistics, close to Noi Bai International Airport and industrial parks such as Thang Long 3, Ba Thien, Khai Quang, Binh Xuyen.
Speaking to reporters, a representative of Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster Development Company Limited, the project investor, said: Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster is planned and designed as a green, smart and sustainable industrial cluster, oriented to attract supporting industries, precision mechanics, electronics and telecommunications assembly, manufacturing and light industry. The project is invested in building synchronous and environmentally friendly technical infrastructure and utilities to attract domestic and foreign investors to implement projects to build factories and warehouses to serve production and logistics.
Also according to the project investor: Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster Project has a total area of up to 50 hectares, divided into different types of land such as administrative land, public land, industrial production land, isolated green land, water surface land, other land and industrial cluster traffic land. With its superior location and diverse land distribution, the project promises to be an ideal place for businesses to invest.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong said that the project is very suitable for the socio-economic development orientation and priority areas for investment attraction of the province, period 2021 - 2025 and the following years. The groundbreaking of the project is one of the practical activities to realize the Party's major policy on private economic development according to Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo, contributing to the province's double-digit economic growth target.
“With the capacity, responsibility and efforts of the investor, along with the support of departments, branches and local authorities, the project will soon be completed, put into operation and promote efficiency, bringing expected benefits to the investor, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality in particular and Vinh Phuc province in general. The Provincial People's Committee commits to always accompany and support the investor throughout the project implementation process” - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong affirmed.
Opportunities for workers
With a total investment of nearly 800 billion VND, Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster not only promises to bring positive changes to the local industry but also opens up huge job opportunities for local people and neighboring areas.
For many years, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, a resident of Hoang Lau Commune, Tam Duong District, has been accustomed to seeing young people in the area leave their hometowns to find work. Some go to work as factory workers in industrial parks in the lowlands, others go to the South to work as hired laborers, away from their families all year round.
Therefore, when hearing the news that Hoang Lau Industrial Park was being deployed, not only he but many local people were very excited, hoping that the project would be completed soon to create more job opportunities.
“When there are companies and factories, people can also open more restaurants, services, rent vehicles to transport goods… From there, not only does it create direct jobs but it also helps many other workers have a stable source of income,” Mr. Hai added.
Sharing the same wish, local resident Nguyen Thi Hoa shared that in the countryside, women often stay close to their families, few go to work far away because they are busy with their children.
“For a long time, women have mainly worked in the fields, doing whatever they were hired to do, and their lives are not very comfortable. If the industrial park is completed, many people can work as workers near their homes, having a stable income and taking care of their families,” Ms. Hoa confided.
Not only Mr. Hai and Ms. Hoa, many households in the area also look forward to changes when the industrial cluster comes into operation. As expected, when it comes into operation, Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster will create thousands of jobs, contributing to stabilizing social security and promoting economic growth. At the same time, the industrial cluster will increase the local budget revenue, contributing to the sustainable industrial development strategy of Vinh Phuc province.
“Our people are very excited and looking forward to it. Because not only does it create direct jobs for workers, the development of the industrial cluster also entails other service industries such as transportation, food and beverage, accommodation, machinery repair, etc. Thanks to that, not only workers but also many other people have the opportunity to improve their income.
For a locality with many difficulties like Hoang Lau, having a large-scale industrial cluster in operation will help solve the employment problem, reduce the pressure of labor migration. At the same time, it will create stable income for people and contribute to sustainable economic development" - Mr. Tran Van Hung, a resident of Hoang Lau commune, excitedly shared.
