772 applications for admission to grade 10 at Bien Hoa Specialized High School

According to Decision 619/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee approving the enrollment quota for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in the province, Bien Hoa Specialized High School is allowed to maintain the number of students at 350 for 10 specialized classes. Each class has 35 students. For the Math specialized class, the school received 126 applications for the first choice, 15 applications for the second choice. The Literature specialized class had 149 applications for the first choice, 19 applications for the second choice. The English specialized class had 126 applications for the first choice, 16 applications for the second choice. The Biology specialized class had 72 applications for the first choice, 3 applications for the second choice. The Chemistry specialized class had 67 applications for the first choice, no applications for the second choice. The Physics specialized class had 62 applications for the first choice, no applications for the second choice. The History specialized class had 44 applications for the first choice, 7 applications for the second choice. The Geography specialized class had 64 applications for the first choice, 12 applications for the second choice. The IT specialized class had 47 applications for the first choice, 122 applications for the second choice. The Russian specialized class had 15 applications for the first choice, 125 applications 2.

Compared to the number of applications for admission to Bien Hoa Specialized High School last school year, this year, the number of applications for admission to Bien Hoa Specialized High School decreased by 429 applications. The new point of the entrance exam to grade 10 of Bien Hoa Specialized High School this year is that it is organized together with the entrance exam to grade 10 of non-specialized high schools in the province. According to regulations, each candidate registering for the entrance exam to Bien Hoa Specialized High School can register for a maximum of 2 wishes to take the exam for 2 specialized classes (not overlapping with the specialized subject exam schedule) and 1 wish to take the exam for a non-specialized high school according to the admission region (this wish will be considered if the candidate is not admitted to Bien Hoa Specialized High School).

Because the province only organizes one general exam, the general exams of Literature, Math, and English will be the same as those of non-specialized high schools. The exam will start from June 6 to 8. On the morning of June 6, candidates will listen to the announcement of the exam regulations and schedule, check candidate information, and correct errors in information (if any). On the afternoon of June 6, candidates will take the first exam, Literature, in the form of an essay, with a duration of 120 minutes. On June 7, candidates will take two general exams, Math and English, in the form of multiple choice questions. In the morning, candidates will take the Math exam, with a duration of 120 minutes; in the afternoon, they will take the English exam, with a duration of 60 minutes. On June 8, candidates who register to take the specialized exams of Math, IT, Literature, Physics, and Chemistry will take the exam in the morning. In the afternoon, they will take the specialized exams of Biology, English, Russian, Geography, and History. Time for specialized exams is 150 minutes/subject.
