80 couples mark their love at a mass wedding ceremony by Hoan Kiem Lake

As part of the rich series of activities of Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, the program "Couple Day - Love is happiness" for 80 couples will be a special highlight spreading the message "Every smile today is a seed of happiness for tomorrow".

From December 5-7, the Vietnam Happy Day Festival will take place at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street (Hanoi). The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The festival is designed as a journey to discover happiness through 14 consecutive activities from Le Thai To, Dinh Tien Hoang, Hang Khay streets and ending at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc square.

The program “Couple Day - Love is Happiness” symbolizes "80 years of love - 80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", expressed through 80 love stories and honored with a solemn ceremony. The mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples will contribute to creating a beautiful image of the value of love and family in today's life.

In a space filled with joy, 80 couples celebrated their weddings, expressing their belief in a lifelong journey. Besides the diamond weddings, golden weddings, silver weddings with a journey of perseverance, understanding and sharing, the happiness of today's youth is sprouted and nurtured from the peace and freedom of the nation. The event is both a memorable spiritual experience and affirms the desire for happiness of the Vietnamese people.

The organizers said that the program “Couple Day - Love is Happiness” respectfully welcomes couples to register to participate, together marking their love story at this meaningful community event. The presence of 80 couples will continue the journey of connecting the past - present - future, spreading the message of love, sharing, understanding... contributing to creating a picture of Vietnam radiant with happiness and love.

The mass wedding ceremony will take place from 7:30 to 11:30 on December 6, 2025 at Hoan Kiem Lake area, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi.
