GD&TĐ - In the whole Phu Tho province, 89 educational establishments were affected by storm No. 10, with total damage of nearly 7.5 billion VND.

On October 8, information from the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province said that due to the impact of storm No. 10, a number of educational facilities in the province were affected, damaged, and unsafe.

Specifically, as of October 6, the whole province had 89 educational establishments affected by the storm, including kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, high schools and provincial vocational centers.

Total estimated damage is nearly 7.5 billion VND.

In addition, a 5-year-old child studying at Trung Bi Kindergarten in Nat Son commune drowned in his home garden.

The Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province said that it has reported to the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to continue to pay attention to supporting funding for educational and training establishments in the area that suffered damage due to storms and floods to promptly overcome the damage and ensure the implementation of tasks for the 2025-2026 school year as planned.
