The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission supports people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

On the afternoon of October 8, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

According to reports, since the beginning of 2025, there have been 11 storms and 4 tropical depressions in the East Sea. Of these, 7 storms have affected our country, creating a series of natural disasters, with almost no break long enough to overcome all the consequences. Recently, consecutive storms No. 10 and 11 have caused heavy damage to both people and property in many localities.

Implementing the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission launched a fundraising campaign to support people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

At the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, was moved to express his deep sympathy for the pain and great loss that people had to endure due to the floods. He emphasized that two consecutive strong storms had caused serious damage to people and property, severely affecting production, business as well as the daily lives of the people.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said that overcoming the consequences of natural disasters requires a huge amount of resources and will take a lot of time. He asked cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Sector to promote the spirit of "mutual love and mutual assistance", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", which is a fine tradition of the Vietnamese people, to contribute to sharing the difficulties, losses and pain with people who suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters.

Immediately after the call, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department directly participated in voluntary support, each person contributing at least one day's salary.

All donations will be transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for compilation, allocation and sending to people in disaster areas in a public, transparent, targeted and timely manner.
