98 rural water supply works in the province are not operating.

Lam Dong authorities said that nearly 34% of rural water supply works in the province are currently not operating.

Specifically, the province currently has 281 centralized rural water supply works, including 223 drilled wells, pumps and 58 self-flowing water supply works, all of which are managed and operated by localities.

A recent review showed that only 18 projects (6.41%) operated sustainably; 87 projects (36.82%) operated relatively sustainably; 78 projects (26.76%) operated unsustainably, and up to 98 projects (33.94%) were not operating.
