With 21 years of dedication to journalism, including 8 years working in television at Cam Pha Radio and Television Station (now Cam Pha Information and Culture Center), 7 years working in electronic journalism at Quang Ninh Newspaper, 6 years working at the Provincial Media Center after merging press agencies, reporter Thanh Cong has always demonstrated his professionalism and dedication in all assigned tasks. Working at the News Department, reporter Thanh Cong is often trusted by leaders to assign tasks that require the ability to do many things, which is multimedia work. Especially during working trips and experience exchanges abroad of provincial delegations.
Sharing about these experiences, reporter Thanh Cong said: Business trips abroad are always a big challenge for me. Not only is it the pressure of time and time zones, but also the need to carefully prepare content and equipment to be able to simultaneously produce news, television reports, articles for online newspapers, and printed newspapers. There were trips where I had to carry dozens of kilograms of equipment (cameras, cameras, microphones, laptops, etc.). Moving frequently and continuously, combined with a large amount of machinery, was really quite tiring. I remember one time on a business trip to China, due to the tight schedule, I had to edit photos, set up images, and write text while traveling by car to send news to the editorial office in time. Or like the recent trip to Japan, I filmed, took photos, and at the same time had to find a way to transmit data back in unstable network conditions.
“Although it is so hard, every time I complete a task and see my product published and well received by readers and audiences, I feel extremely proud and happy. That is the motivation for me to continue to contribute, constantly learn and overcome my limits to bring the most authentic and vivid information to the public. I believe that, in the context of modern media, a journalist must be a versatile "warrior", ready to face all challenges to bring the highest quality products" - reporter Thanh Cong shared more.
The story of reporter Thanh Cong at the Provincial Media Center is not an isolated one. In fact, many reporters working at press agencies in Quang Ninh can work in multimedia. Typically, reporters from press agencies stationed in the province, reporters at district-level information and culture centers are all "multi-talented" people in the true sense. They can take on many roles at the same time, from field reporter, cameraman, editor, to announcer, editor and even technical staff.
When working at the base, reporters have to carry cameras, video cameras, and microphones to follow the working group to record, take photos, and conduct interviews, while also having to concentrate to capture and collect necessary information and documents. When returning to the office, the work continues with framing, editing, and even reading the script for their own news.
Over the past 15 years, with a video camera and a camera, reporter Luong Thanh Truong (Hai Ha District Information and Culture Center) has "fought" in all communes and towns to produce news and articles on all aspects of life. Reporter Luong Thanh Truong shared: It was not until I worked at the District Information and Culture Center that I felt my passion for journalism. I think that only with passion can people have the strength to devote themselves to their profession and to life.
Reporter Luong Thanh Truong's main job is currently filming, taking photos, and writing news articles. In case the radio staff is busy, he is also willing to become a radio reader, recording the news and articles of himself and his colleagues to ensure that information is always transmitted promptly.
