The VND500 billion loan package of Agribank Ha Tinh II has helped people and businesses access preferential capital in the difficult context after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, commercial banks are lending at high interest rates, so we are very happy to access preferential capital from Agribank. From here, the family has the resources to invest in building more barns with a scale of 10,000 broilers/batch with a total investment cost of over 1 billion VND. For a long time, with the scale of 1 barn, after deducting expenses, the family has earned about 300 million VND/year in profit. Agribank's capital has helped us develop a stable economy right in our hometown."

Mr. Tran Quoc The is one of many customers in Huong Khe district who received preferential loans during this period. With drastic and creative ways of doing things, Agribank Huong Khe district is currently the branch with the largest outstanding balance of the interest rate support package of Agribank Ha Tinh Branch II.

The loan subjects are new customers who borrow to serve production and business development investment.

Specifically, for new loans disbursed from April 3, 2023 to September 30, 2023, customers will enjoy a preferential loan interest rate of 7.5%/year within the first 6 months from the date of disbursement. After the first 6 months from the date of disbursement, the branch will apply the interest rate according to the regulations of Agribank where the loan is made. The loan term is up to 12 months.

Agribank Ha Tinh II has disbursed nearly 93 billion to 235 customers from the interest rate support package.
