Agribank launches series of preferential loan packages: Supporting people to settle down and develop the economy

Preferential loans to support production and business

Proactively following the Resolution of the National Assembly, instructions from the Government and the Prime Minister, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) is synchronously implementing many preferential credit programs aimed at individual customers. In the context of a strong economic recovery, the need to access reasonable loans to buy houses, produce, and improve living conditions is becoming increasingly urgent.

In order to support people to expand production, Agribank has launched a short-term loan program with preferential interest rates with a total scale of up to 50,000 billion VND. The program will be implemented from now until September 30, 2025, flexibly applying many loan forms such as one-time loans, loans according to the limit or overdraft on payment accounts.

Preferential interest rates are up to 0.5%/year lower than the normal rate. Specifically: From 4.3%/year for terms up to 3 months; from 4.5%/year for terms from 3 to 6 months; and from 5.0%/year for terms from 6 to 12 months. Simple loan procedures, fast disbursement time, helping individual customers easily access capital for production and business activities.

Stable residence with many loan options for home purchase and repair

In parallel with production support, Agribank is implementing a medium and long-term loan program with a scale of 10,000 billion VND, from July 20, 2025 to the end of 2025. This program is for individual customers who need to buy houses, receive land use rights transfer, build, renovate or complete houses.

The one-time loan form is applied with an attractive fixed interest rate depending on the disbursement period. Specifically: loan interest rate is 5.5%/year in the first 6 months with a minimum disbursement loan of 18 months; 6.2%/year in the first 12 months with a minimum disbursement loan of 36 months; 6.5%/year in the first 24 months with a minimum disbursement loan of 60 months or more.

The program helps customers stabilize their housing, improve their quality of life and be more proactive in their long-term financial planning.

To realize the dream of owning a quality home at a reasonable cost, Agribank has launched a preferential loan program exclusively for individual customers buying apartments at Tan An Apartment Project, Thuan Giao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province), invested by Tecco Mien Nam.

Customers can borrow up to 75% of the value of the Sales Contract if the mortgage is the property formed from the loan capital. In particular, if there is other collateral, they can borrow up to 100% of the contract value. The maximum loan term is 35 years, with a principal grace period of up to 12 months.

Fixed interest rates are applied according to 3 options: 5.5%/year for the first 6 months with a minimum loan of 18 months; 6.2%/year for the first 12 months with a minimum loan of 36 months; 6.5%/year for the first 24 months with a minimum loan of 60 months

This policy is considered suitable for the needs of young workers and newly established families who need stable housing at reasonable costs.

According to Agribank, the simultaneous implementation of many preferential credit packages is the result of drastic implementation of the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and the State Bank. The goal is to reduce operating costs, promote the application of information technology, enhance digital transformation, simplify procedures, thereby reducing lending interest rates and expanding access to credit to people and businesses.

At the regular online July Government meeting with provinces and centrally run cities held on August 7, the Government leader also called on the banking sector to share difficulties through cost reduction, credit incentives, technology application, and social security and infrastructure support.
