AgriS promotes scientific research cooperation for agricultural development

In the context of Vietnam's strong transformation towards the development of green, high-tech and sustainable agriculture, TTC AgriS (Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, AgriS, HOSE: SBT) is promoting participation in the Partnership for Green Growth and Global Goals 2030 (P4G) programs - a global initiative to encourage public-private partnership models to promote digital transformation and sustainable growth in developing countries.

In addition, AgriS also continues to affirm its pioneering role in connecting key entities shaping the national agricultural development strategy: State - School - Enterprise.

A series of memorandums of understanding recently signed by AgriS emphasize the R&D factor with Ho Chi Minh City National University - a multidisciplinary academic center with strong research potential, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry - a leading unit in agricultural training and research, Nanyang Technological University (NTU - Singapore), where AgriS became a member of Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL), ... marking a new step in the journey of creating an international training - research - innovation cooperation network.

With the orientation of "putting people at the center of digital transformation in agriculture", the projects that AgriS accompanies with P4G and universities not only aim at technology transfer but also include training and capacity development for young cadres, farmers, and students - the core force for the new agricultural era. This action also concretizes the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/CP on digital transformation in the field of agriculture and rural development until 2030.

Mr. Vu Hai Quan, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairwoman of AgriS Board of Directors, exchanged cooperation documents on May 24, 2025, witnessed by Comrade Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

With a sustainable circular value chain system integrating three technology pillars: Agtech, Foodtech and Fintech, AgriS has implemented key cooperation directions with universities: Sharing research and training data on digital agricultural economics, co-creating science and technology policies and ESG with management agencies; Applying smart farming models, traceability and digitizing supply chains in Tay Ninh and Ben Tre - two strategic raw material areas of AgriS; Developing an "integrated learning - creative work" program for students, aiming to operate at three global linkage centers of AgriS: Agricultural R&D Center in Australia, International Trade R&D Center in Singapore, and Production Center in Vietnam.

In addition to cooperating with leading domestic universities, AgriS builds an international R&D system through cooperation with prestigious institutes, schools and organizations. The programs focus on biotechnology research, developing plant-based foods and beverages, applying advanced technologies such as protein fermentation, HPP, UHT, and developing specific nutritional formulas for the international market. In parallel, controlling carbon emissions and improving circular agricultural product packaging. This is an important step to help AgriS develop deeply processed products with clear traceability to meet the international market.

In March 2025, AgriS signed a cooperation agreement with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under the witness of senior leaders of Vietnam and Singapore, officially becoming a member of Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL).
