AI is the theme throughout the National Television Festival in Quy Nhon

The 42nd National Television Festival will take place from March 19-22 in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh), with 734 works from 100 participating units in 11 categories.

Including: children's programs (26 works), documentaries (97 works), reports (140 works), short reports (148 works), science and education programs (46 works), dialogue and discussion programs (46 works), ethnic minority language television programs (52 works), music and dance programs (57 works), theater (20 works), television dramas (34 works), videos on digital platforms (66 works).

This festival has many outstanding activities, such as: exhibition "Television technology", photo exhibition "Television workers", sightseeing of Binh Dinh's scenic spots... Notably, there are 2 thematic seminars with content closely following the practical development needs of the television industry and aiming to apply AI in activities.

According to Journalist Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television (VTV), with the increasing number of works and participating units, the National Television Festival continues to affirm its own appeal.

"Only 5% of the works were awarded the Gold prize, promising fierce competition in each category. The participating units all invested carefully, maximizing their abilities and creativity to have the best works sent to the Festival", VTV Deputy General Director informed.

In particular, the 42nd National Television Festival will highlight the theme of AI throughout the conferences, promising breakthrough movements for the Vietnamese television industry.

As the host locality of the 42nd National Television Festival, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that the program took place at a very meaningful time when Binh Dinh celebrated the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).

Up to this point, all preparations have been basically completed and are ready with a sense of urgency and high responsibility. Binh Dinh is ready to welcome delegations to attend the 42nd National Television Festival, contributing to creating a heated atmosphere every day before the opening ceremony.

“Through the festival of television workers nationwide, Binh Dinh hopes to introduce, promote and further spread the potential and strengths of culture, tourism, people, as well as the development potential of the locality to promote investment attraction and socio-economic development,” Mr. Lam Hai Giang shared.

Within the framework of the festival, the organizers implemented a number of very meaningful sideline activities, such as: free screening to help detect early congenital heart disease in children under 18 years old.

Inauguration and handover of 10 houses, 3 schools and construction of 2 bridges with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND. Presenting televisions, savings books to poor households and scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.
