Arsenal looking for young talent for long-term future

Arsenal are closely monitoring the development of Michael Olise, with the aim of bringing him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window this year, giving coach Mikel Arteta more options to build his attack.

Arsenal's project is to find young talent to build a team for the long-term future, able to compete for the Premier League title, as well as go far on the prestigious Champions League front in the next decade.

Olise is one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League and has been a key piece for Crystal Palace this season.

The Frenchman - who has two goals and eight assists - is versatile. He can replace Bukayo Saka on the right flank, or play in place of Martin Odegaard in central attack.

Olise's contract with Crystal Palace runs until 2026. In addition to Arsenal, the 21-year-old has also received offers from major English football teams.

Joao Palhinha will not leave Fulham easily

The Sun reported that MU aims to have Joao Palhinha's service next season, in order to upgrade the depth of the squad to compete on many different fronts.

MU is expected to invest significantly in the summer transfer market. With the mark that coach Erik ten Hag has shown this season, the leadership at Old Trafford is confident in the ability to conquer major titles.

Coach Ten Hag admitted that investment is needed in all lines to make MU stronger and compete in the long term with neighbor Man City. Fred and Scott McTominay both have limitations, so Palhinha will be an important addition.

Joao Palhinha is a player that Manchester United scouts have been keeping a close eye on for months, with the Portuguese midfielder impressing for Fulham as the Premier League newcomers sit in mid-table.

Palhinha's outstanding feature is his ability to organize the team without the ball. This will help MU avoid situations where the opponent counterattacks quickly.

Fulham are not letting the 27-year-old go easily, with a transfer fee estimated at £50m.

Marcus Thuram not renewing with Gladbach

Atletico Madrid is preparing a new football project, with the ambition of increasing its strength to compete for the La Liga championship with two rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid.

One of the targets that coach Diego Simeone asked Atletico officials to sign was striker Marcus Thuram.

Simeone believes Thuram is suitable for the defensive counter-attacking style of play he has built. The French striker has a strong, aggressive style of play, scoring 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season.

Thuram's contract with Gladbach expires at the end of the season and he has since confirmed he will not be renewing it, in order to move to a bigger club in the Champions League.

Besides Atletico, many European football clubs such as MU, Chelsea, Newcastle, Barcelona, Inter Milan also want Thuram's services.
