Bac Ninh: Businesses launch campaign to support flood victims

BAC NINH - On the afternoon of October 9, the Trade Union, Newwing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company (Bac Giang), Van Trung Industrial Park launched a fundraising campaign to support the people of Bac Ninh province affected by natural disasters and floods. Attending were comrade Thach Van Chung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation.

Here, the company's Union called for voluntary support from all employees working at the enterprise. Each person shared a part of their income to join hands to share difficulties and promptly support people in the province affected by storm No. 11.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, businesses, union officials, and company union members support people affected by storm No. 11.

Union members can support through two forms: bank transfer or directly until October 16. The entire amount of donations will be compiled by the company's union; a portion will be used to directly support union members and workers of the company affected; the remainder will be transferred to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to carry out relief activities for people in the province affected by storm No. 11.

Speaking here, comrade Thach Van Chung said that currently the whole province still has about 6 thousand isolated households, in great need of the community's cooperation and support.

As the first enterprise in the province to organize a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 11, he thanked the company's leadership for their attention and support for grassroots trade union activities, making an important contribution to improving the lives of union members, workers and the socio -economic development of the province.

Promoting the nation's tradition of solidarity, he hoped that each union member would demonstrate noble deeds and contribute a small part to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Comrade Nguyen Nhan Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received support from representatives of Thanh Cong Sports Limited Liability Company.

* In order to share difficulties and help union members and workers affected by storms and floods to quickly recover from damage, the Trade Union of Ha Phong Garment Export Joint Stock Company (Hiep Hoa commune) allocated nearly 250 million VND to implement activities including: Financial support for union members whose vehicles were damaged; giving 300 gifts (fresh milk, filtered water, instant noodles) to union members in isolated areas (mainly in Hoang Van and Hop Thinh communes).

* On the same afternoon, at the office of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Nguyen Nhan Chinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, received 300 million VND in support for flood victims from Thanh Cong Sports Limited Liability Company (Dinh Tri Industrial Park, Bac Giang Ward).
