Power restored to more than 25,000 customers in Yen The area

BAC NINH - Due to the circulation of storm No. 11 causing prolonged heavy rain, many areas in Bac Ninh province were deeply flooded, especially the old Yen The district. Accordingly, Bac Ninh Electricity Company quickly deployed emergency response measures, temporarily stopping power supply on a large scale.

In order to restore power to the people as soon as possible, despite the difficult terrain conditions and deep water flooding on many roads, on the morning of October 8, Bac Ninh Electricity Company sent a shock team to support the Yen The Regional Electricity Management Team to work day and night, both to ensure absolute safety for people and equipment, and to gradually restore power to residential areas and essential infrastructure.

After more than 1 day of urgent implementation, by 8:30 a.m. on October 9, the working teams had restored power to 7/10 medium voltage lines, 274/398 transformer stations, bringing electricity back to serve more than 25,000 customers in the Yen The Power Management Team area.

The remaining areas are still being monitored by the electricity force, waiting for the water level to recede and ensure safety before power is turned back on.

According to Bac Ninh Electricity Company, in the work of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, safety criteria are given top priority. Electricity management teams closely coordinate with local authorities, police and militia forces to isolate dangerous areas, warn people not to go near broken electric poles, transformer stations and downed electric wires.

At the same time, the unit also stepped up propaganda on mass media and social networks, advising people not to arbitrarily restore electricity in flooded areas, and only use electrical equipment after it has been checked for safety.

Currently, officers and workers of Bac Ninh Electricity Company are still on duty 24/24, taking advantage of favorable weather to restore the remaining areas. The unit's goal is to bring the entire power grid into stable operation, ensuring safe and continuous power supply to the people as soon as conditions allow.
