According to information from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in 2023, Hanoi University of Science and Technology recorded a total number of wishes (nearly 90,000) and number of candidates (nearly 34,500) increased compared to 2022.

On August 22, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the admission scores for the 2023 regular university program. Accordingly, the majors with the highest admission scores are in the field of Information Technology: IT-E10 with 83.97/100 points (according to the results of the National High School Graduation Exam) and IT1 with 29.42 points (according to the results of the High School Graduation Exam).

Standard score range from 50.4 to 83.97 points (according to the results of the National Assessment of Education) and from 21 to 29.42 points (according to the results of the High School Exam)

With the newly announced benchmark, both top students of block A00 failed.

Specifically, the national valedictorian of block A00 Nguyen Manh Thang is a former student of Bac Giang Specialized High School. The male student scored 29.35 points, including 9.6 points in Math, 9.75 points in Physics and 10 points in Chemistry.

Along with Thang, Nguyen Manh Hung, a former student of Trung Vuong High School (Van Lam, Hung Yen) is also one of the three top students in the A00 group nationwide with a score of 29.35. In particular, Hung scored 10 points in Physics, 9.6 points in Math and 9.75 points in Chemistry.

Both of them applied for the Computer Science (IT1) major at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
