Handing over 2 "Shelters of Love" houses to disadvantaged women in Nha Trang

On the morning of May 13, the Women's Union of Nha Trang City organized the handover of 2 "Shelters of Love" houses to members in difficult circumstances in Residential Group 2, Truong Hai, Vinh Truong Ward (Nha Trang City). This is an activity to implement the program of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the city.

Nha Trang City Women's Union handed over the decision to hand over "Warm House of Love" to 2 families of women in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, the City Women's Union handed over houses to two families: Ms. Huynh Thi Huu (born in 1953) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang (born in 1985). Both houses were built with 1 floor and 1 mezzanine, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor. Ms. Huu's family's house has an area of ^​​26m2 with a total construction cost of 140 million VND; Ms. Hang's family's house has an area of ^​​36m2 with a total construction cost of 230 million VND. Of which, the City Women's Union supported 60 million VND/house, benefactors mobilized by the union supported 12 million VND/house, the rest is the counterpart source from the families.

At the house handover ceremony, the Women's Union of Residential Group 2 Truong Hai, the Women's Union of Vinh Truong Ward, and other donors presented gifts and household items to the two families.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, the City Women's Union has mobilized and supported the construction of 3 new "Shelters of Love" to help female members in difficult circumstances have the conditions to rise up, do business, develop the economy , build happy families and be attached to the work of the local women's union.
