Opening of the 30th Soc Trang City Red Flamboyant Festival

STO - On the evening of May 30, at the Soc Trang City Culture - Sports - Broadcasting Center, the opening ceremony of the 30th Soc Trang City Red Flamboyant Festival in 2025 took place. The festival was organized by the Soc Trang City Culture - Sports - Broadcasting Center. Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Soc Trang City, along with many students and parents.

This festival was held from May 30 to June 3, with 30 participating units including kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in Soc Trang city. The performances were in the following categories: solo, duet, trio, choir, dance, aerobic dance, and costume show. The program praised the homeland, the country, the Party, Uncle Ho, teachers, schools, friends, traditions of the Youth Union, and the Youth Team.

Through the festival, we aim to create a vibrant competitive movement and a healthy, useful playground for children, as well as create conditions for them to develop their talents and abilities. Thereby, the cultural and artistic movement in the city will develop more and more, contributing to educating national traditions, love for the homeland and country, guiding children in choosing and enjoying music in the right way, suitable for their age.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Soc Trang city awarded 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students in the city. The program's organizers also awarded prizes for the Brushstroke Competition in the summer of 2025.
