“Global Vietnamese Voice 2025”: Combining technology to spread music

On May 30, in Hanoi , the Organizing Committee met with the press to inform about the contest, announcing the official cooperation of Unicorn Global Media and Entertainment Company Limited and 5G Multimedia Technology and Communications Company (5G NetWork).

“Global Vietnamese Singing” is a contest held for the first time in 2023 with the aim of finding musical talents, while honoring values imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, preserving and conserving Vietnamese identity, connecting love, and looking back to the roots. The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens from 16 to 60 years old, regardless of professional or amateur status, with singing talent and passion for singing.

Mr. Henry Nguyen, representative of Global Unicorn Media and Entertainment Company Limited, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the new point of this year's competition is not to exploit contestants from Europe like the previous 2 seasons but to focus entirely on Vietnam. Accordingly, the award-winning contestants have the opportunity to gain practical experience through European tours, performing for overseas Vietnamese to promote their abilities.

In this third season, the “Global Vietnamese Singing Voice” contest has cooperated with 5G Multimedia Technology and Communications Company (5G NetWork). “With this cooperation, the contest will apply many new platforms such as interactive livestream, behind-the-scenes video production, contestant diaries... to reach young audiences on platforms such as Facebook Reel, TikTok... Our goal is to create a modern, fair and accessible playground for the public”, the Head of the Organizing Committee shared.

"Global Vietnamese Voice 2025" brings together a panel of famous and experienced judges such as musician Luu Thien Huong, famous singer Y Lan, singer Manh Dinh, "Rock Queen" Ngoc Anh, singer Sy Luan, singer Giang Hong Ngoc, pipa artist Vu Dieu Thao...

The competition's coaching board includes singers Sy Luan, Giang Hong Ngoc, Ngoc Anh, Manh Dinh, Mai Lan; musician Duong Truong Giang and Mr. Henry Nguyen.

Master of Music, pipa artist Vu Dieu Thao, a member of the Jury, said that in addition to her more than 20 years of experience as a lecturer at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and having been a judge in many competitions, the female artist has also performed in many places around the world, promoting traditional music to overseas Vietnamese and foreign audiences, so she can share with the contestants, contributing to improving the quality of the competition. The female artist hopes that each contestant will participate in the competition with the mindset of an artist, with performances that touch the hearts of the audience.

According to the Organizing Committee, the “Global Vietnamese Singing Contest 2025” consists of 4 rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final, Final and Final Ranking. From 80 excellent candidates after the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 40 candidates will participate in the final round in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The final ranking night with 20 excellent singers competing is scheduled to be held on October 18 at the Vietnam - Soviet Union Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi).

The contest will award 1 Champion and 2 Runner-up prizes for each genre: Romantic (old music, bolero...), folk - red music, light music (pop, rock, R&B...). In addition, there are other awards such as: Most Favorite Contestant Award, Promising Contestant Award, Jury's Choice Award, Impressive Performance Contestant Award, National Identity Honor Award...
