Handing over the energy-saving school lighting model at Vu Ban Primary and Secondary School

Implementing the Program on economical and efficient use of energy in Hoa Binh province in 2025, on the morning of May 21, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting (Department of Industry and Trade) organized the acceptance and handover of the school lighting model at Vu Ban Primary and Secondary School, Vu Ban town (Lac Son).

Representatives of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting, the Department of Economics - Infrastructure and Urban Areas of Lac Son district and the People's Committee of Vu Ban town visited the school lighting model at Vu Ban Primary and Secondary School, Vu Ban town (Lac Son).

The model was implemented with a total estimated budget of 74 million VND. With the active coordination of local authorities and the school, the construction process was ensured to comply with technical procedures, labor safety and environmental protection. The construction unit installed a lighting system for 6 classrooms, each equipped with 6 sets of 36W classroom lights and 2 sets of 18W board lights from Rang Dong Light Bulb and Thermos Flask JSC.

Measurement results after installation show that the average illuminance is 385 lux for the classroom and 560 lux for the board, meeting the lighting standards according to TCVN 7114-2008. The power density is 5.76W/m², much lower than the maximum allowable level of 12W/m². The lighting system uses modern, high-efficiency, safe and environmentally friendly lighting technology.

The implementation of the model not only helps reduce electricity consumption and greenhouse gas emissions but also significantly improves learning conditions for students. This is an effective model, contributing to creating a foundation for replication in the province'seducation system, towards the goal of sustainable development and responding to climate change.
