3.5 billion VND to support small and medium enterprises in 2025

The People's Committee of Hoa Binh province has just issued Plan No. 93/KH-UBND on supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the province in 2025. Accordingly, the decision was made to allocate 3.5 billion VND from the central budget to support SMEs. The provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center was assigned to survey the needs, select participating enterprises; develop a detailed budget according to the support content and send it to the Department of Finance for appraisal, submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and direct the implementation.

According to the above plan, the Provincial People's Committee plans to allocate 1.4 billion VND to support technology for SMEs, including strategic consulting, consulting on digital transformation solutions for businesses to apply to production, business, management and model conversion processes (expected to support 30 - 35 businesses). Regarding support for human resource development training, it is expected to allocate 600 million VND to support in-depth business management training for 30 - 40 trainees; support direct training courses at manufacturing and processing enterprises for 70 - 90 trainees who are representatives of enterprises (priority given to enterprises owned by women or employing many female workers).

In particular, the State budget will allocate 1.5 billion VND to support consulting for enterprises participating in industry clusters and value chains, including: supporting consulting for enterprises on financial management through a network of consultants; supporting capacity improvement in production and business linkage; supporting information, brand development, connecting and expanding markets; supporting costs for renting locations, designing and setting up booths, transporting displayed products of enterprises when participating in trade promotion activities...

The above support contents are for SMEs in the province that are established, organized and operate in accordance with the provisions of the law on enterprises, meeting the criteria for identifying SMEs as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 2, Decree No. 80/2021/ND-CP of the Government .

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the plan to support SMEs in 2025 aims to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement policies to support SMEs, helping businesses stabilize and develop production and business; create a favorable, equal and stable investment and business environment for SMEs to improve their competitiveness, contributing positively to the socio -economic development of the province.
