Thuan An Ward gives electric fans to families on the occasion of house handover

In Thuan An ward, the acceptance and handover ceremony of 5 house repair projects in the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses took place. Of which, the repair cost from the budget supported 30 million VND/house; from the source of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue city supported 10 million VND/house. On this occasion, the locality also presented fans to households with a total value of 5.5 million VND.

Duong No Ward also accepted and handed over the "Dai Doan Ket" house to Ms. Van Thi Phuc's household, a poor household in Lai Loc residential group, and at the same time awarded 8 million VND in support funds to the family.

Along with the handover of the house, Duong No ward provided livelihood support to Ms. Van Thi Phuc's household with a budget of 15 million VND (of which 10 million VND came from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa district and 5 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the ward) to run a beverage service business; provided support to Mr. Doan Van Phan, Duong No Tay residential group with a budget of 7 million VND (of which 5 million VND came from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa district and 2 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the ward) to make banh chung and banh tet. This is a meaningful and practical activity to help poor and near-poor households have a decent and solid place to live, and at the same time have the means to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.

On the same day, at Lai Bang 1 residential group, Huong Van ward, the Labor Federation of Huong Tra town organized the handover of the "Union Shelter" house to the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Ly - a member of the Trade Union of Thai Hung Incense Production and Trading Joint Stock Company.

The new house helps Ly's family settle down and work with peace of mind.

After 3 months of construction, the new house with a total construction cost of 250 million VND was handed over on schedule.

Ms. Hoang Thi Ly is a member of the Youth Union who has a particularly difficult housing situation. She is physically disabled, has to raise a small child alone and is living in her parents' dilapidated house.

To support Ms. Hoang Thi Ly to settle down, so that she can work with peace of mind and strive to escape poverty, the City Labor Federation has supported 40 million VND from the "Union Shelter" Fund, the rest was contributed and supported by Ms. Ly's family and relatives.

“The Trade Union Shelter” is not only material support but also shows the deep concern, responsibility and affection of the Trade Union organization towards union members in difficult circumstances, helping them to firmly overcome challenges in life,” shared Ms. Ho Thi Linh - President of the Labor Federation of Huong Tra Town.
