Located nearly 15km from the urban center of Mong Cai City, Quang Nghia commune in recent years has always been a bright spot in building new rural areas, especially in building an effective agricultural economic model; people promote their role as the main subject, proactively participate in maintaining environmental sanitation, maintaining security, reconciling the grassroots, building a civilized lifestyle... And in any field, the role of cadres and women's union members in the commune is clear, being the most active force to create a vibrant and practical emulation movement from the grassroots. Contributing to that common achievement, there is a significant contribution of Ms. Tran Thi Hoa in her position as President of the Women's Union of Quang Nghia commune for nearly 10 years. Imbued with Uncle Ho's advice to cadres and party members that whatever is beneficial to the people must be done with all our might, she is always enthusiastic in her work, close to the grassroots, words go hand in hand with actions, together with the Party Committee and the Women's Union of the commune, implementing practical models to comprehensively care for the quality of life of members and people in the area.
With a scientific working method, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa spends a lot of time studying and researching effective models to apply creatively and appropriately in the reality of her commune. For example, following Uncle Ho's example of thrift, Ms. Hoa has proactively proposed to the Party Committee to replicate many models among cadres and members such as "Raising piggy banks to save", "Women's thrift group", "Turning trash into money"... Thanks to the accumulation of small things, the branches have proactively raised small amounts of funds to share and support women and children in difficult circumstances to rise up in life. Or in implementing activities to support women in effective economic development, Ms. Hoa and the Executive Committee of the Commune Women's Union launched emulation movements such as "Women doing good business", "Helping poor women have addresses"... to support and help members, especially members in difficult circumstances, to have conditions to develop production, increase income, and build a prosperous family. Ms. Hoa also regularly encourages women to actively participate in "Green Sunday", build "Family of 5 no, 3 clean", build flower roads managed by women... to create beautiful landscapes for the whole commune.
Ms. Tran Thi Hoa confided: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is always identified as a long-term and persistent process, extremely necessary for both the immediate and long-term. Everyone can learn from Uncle Ho, from leaders to people, from the elderly to students. Because everyone can learn from Uncle Ho's example the noble ideological values and qualities, such as dedication, enthusiasm, and lifelong dedication to the revolutionary cause. Especially the virtues of diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality, progressive views on the role and position of women, on gender equality... As a member of the Women's Union, following Uncle Ho's example is deeply ingrained in awareness and action, further enhancing the qualities of "Confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility".
Studying and following Uncle Ho has become the guiding principle for Ms. Tran Thi Hoa to constantly practice and improve in all aspects, ready to take on even unexpected tasks and difficult jobs, and to complete them excellently with the collective Party Committee of the commune. The efforts and endeavors of each individual have combined into the great strength of the collective Party Committee of the commune and the Women's Union of the commune, contributing to the continuous construction of civilized and modern residential areas, and the quality of life of the people has been increasingly improved.
On May 31, 2025, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". From 2016 to 2025, 53 collectives and 47 individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; 92 collectives and 161 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee. |
