The choir performances are carefully and magnificently staged.

The program includes 13 performances with genres: singing, dancing, music, drama, and skits. All performances are renewed, with new music written and dances designed... to attract audiences at 9 performance locations in districts and Ca Mau City. In particular, the performance "Mother's Heart" is choreographed and performed by choreographers and actors from the Provincial Cultural Center.

The performance

The performance "Mother's Heart" recreates the image of heroic Vietnamese mothers during the resistance war against America to save the country.

Mr. Duong Hoang Giang, Director of the Provincial Cultural Center, said: “The structure of the performance program must convey the content and heroic atmosphere of the revolution of the past. What all the brothers of the Center want is for the audience to be proud and grateful for the sacrifices of the heroes, heroic Vietnamese mothers... who shed blood and devoted themselves to gain independence and freedom for the nation. This April, the Center has to rehearse up to 50 art programs to serve throughout, so the artists have made a lot of effort.”

The reception from the people at the main performance venues was a great source of encouragement for the artists of the Center. In some places, students even held red flags with yellow stars to cheer and waved to each dance beat and each song lyric, creating an unforgettable impression in the hearts of the performing artists.

Young audiences, especially school students, responded enthusiastically to the program “The Unification Heroic Song”. Some students even brought flags to cheer for the artists.

Coming to watch the art program, Mr. Tran Trong The, Nam Can town, Nam Can district, said: "This performance is quite elaborate. I took my family to watch until the end before going home. My children were excited to watch, understanding more about the special day of the nation."

Le Quang Vinh, Class 9A, Tam Giang Tay Secondary School, Ngoc Hien District, shared: “We feel happy because we can live with the heroic historical moments of the nation, especially the great victory of liberating the South and unifying the country. We like the performance "Uncle Ba Phi tells the story of fighting the enemy" the most, it is very cute, attractive and lively”.

To have successful performances, artists from the Provincial Cultural Center must practice 3 sessions a day. Some days, they arrive in Ca Mau City at midnight, only resting for a few hours before getting up to practice again to move to another performance location at noon.

Young artist Hoang Phuc shared: “Participating in the program is a joy not only for me but also for most of the young actors. Therefore, from the time of practice to the performance, everyone hopes to be the most meticulous, trying their best to bring spiritual food to serve the audience in 9 districts and cities. What is special is that before the merger of the 2 provinces, abolishing the district-level administrative units, the trips to the performance locations to serve the grassroots were even more emotional. This time, I played the role of Dau with Uncle Ba Phi (played by Director Quoc Tin), in the skit "Uncle Ba Phi tells stories of fighting the enemy". Like many previous performances about the grassroots, bringing the image of Uncle Ba Phi and his stories to the audience; but this time, in the skit, in addition to the subtle and hearty laughter sent to the audience, in each line of dialogue and song, we also tried to incorporate many messages about love for the homeland and country".

The skit

The skit "Uncle Ba Phi tells a story about fighting the enemy" by Artist Hoang Phuc and Director Quoc Tin brought a lot of laughter to the audience.

In the historic days of April, the pride of 50 years of national reunification permeates every heart, the meaningful art program “The Unification Epic” receives much love from audiences in the localities. The most precious thing is that when performed at schools, the program is warmly welcomed by students. For the artists, this will be a beautiful memory in their artistic journey.

Ca Mau is a heroic land, steadfastly accompanying the nation through two great wars for independence and freedom. Today's young generation needs to cherish the peaceful sunshine lit by the blood and bones of generations of ancestors, from there together contribute their youth to make the homeland richer and more beautiful.
