In addition, social activities in Ca Mau province include many meaningful activities such as: caring for the disabled, vocational training for leprosy patients, and supporting scholarships for children of leprosy patients.
Charity kitchens at hospitals are maintained by philanthropists and donors. At medical facilities and in communes, wards and towns, there are social workers who are always ready to connect and help when there are difficult circumstances.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Luc, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Ca Mau province, said: “In the past time, thanks to the enthusiasm of the social work team and philanthropists, the disadvantaged in society have received timely support. Especially poor patients, those in difficult circumstances, homeless elderly people and orphans. We will continue to create all conditions for the disadvantaged to enjoy full benefits and improve their quality of life.”
Each person has a different job, but social workers always have the same goal of accompanying and supporting the disadvantaged in society to overcome difficulties. In 2025, with the motto "Vietnam Social Work - Innovation, Connection and Professionalism", social work activities in Ca Mau province will continue to spread and develop widely in the community./.
