The Economic - Budget Committee, Provincial People's Council reviews draft resolutions

On the morning of November 21, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a conference to review draft resolutions submitted to the 4th thematic session of the 19th Provincial People's Council. At the review session, the leaders of the Department of Finance reported on the draft Resolution with the submission of the Provincial People's Committee on: Regulations on the content and expenditure levels for conducting statistical surveys guaranteed by the provincial budget in Phu Tho province; Regulations on a number of regimes and policies to ensure the operating conditions of the People's Councils at all levels of Phu Tho province; Allocating the 2025 capital plan for increased revenue sources, saving provincial budget expenditures to arrange increased investment expenditure for development in Vinh Phuc area; Supplementing the list of projects for the medium-term public investment plan with local budget capital for the period 2021-2025.

The leaders of the Department of Finance spoke to clarify some contents of the draft resolutions.

During the review process, delegates focused on analyzing the legal basis and practical suitability of each draft. Many opinions suggested that the drafting agency continue to clarify the scope of adjustment, supplement specific regulations on expenditure levels for statistical work, ensuring that they are close to the conditions of remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas; review and complete regulations related to the organization and operation of People's Councils at all levels; carefully consider the time, procedures and priority criteria for investment projects in the 2025 capital plan... In addition, delegates also suggested editing the wording, format and technical documents to ensure that the resolutions when issued comply with legal regulations and are highly feasible.

Concluding the review session, Comrade Nguyen Thai Thinh, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, Provincial People's Council, requested relevant units to fully absorb the participating opinions; promptly review and complete the dossier and draft resolutions to submit to the Provincial People's Council at the Fourth Special Session, Provincial People's Council, term XIX. Based on the review results, the Economic - Budget Committee will complete the review report, which will serve as an important basis for the Provincial People's Council delegates to consider and decide, contributing to improving the quality of the People's Council's activities and promoting the province's socio-economic development in the new period.
