The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolutions submitted to the 29th Session (special topic) of the 17th term, 2021 term.

The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council has just held a meeting to review the draft resolutions submitted to the 29th Session (special session) of the 17th term, 2021-2026. Attending were comrade Ha Nhat Le, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Hoang Van Thach, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolutions submitted to the 29th Session (special topic) of the 17th term, 2021 - 2026.

The meeting reviewed 4 draft resolutions and 1 report including: Resolution stipulating the authority to decide on liquidation of planted forests in Cao Bang province; Resolution on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes in the province in 2025 (2nd supplement); Resolution on allocating the 2025 career budget estimate to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025; Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the 2025 Public Investment Plan of Cao Bang province (2nd time) and Report on the implementation and allocation of support funds from the central budget reserve in 2024 to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 and floods after the storm.

After basic examination, the delegates agreed with the draft resolutions. At the same time, they focused on discussing and giving opinions on the following contents: supplementing and changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement traffic projects in Nuoc Hai town, Hoa An - Na Bao district, Nguyen Binh district; Urban development project of Bac Song Hien, Cao Bang city; Project to renovate and upgrade the road from Xuan Hoa town - Thong Nong town, Ha Quang district; Project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 205; adjusting and supplementing the 2025 capital plan from other legal sources; proposing to increase the capital of the resettlement area project to serve the site clearance of the Na Rua iron mine open-pit mining project, Cao Bang city from 5 billion to 17.1 billion VND; clarifying the plan to allocate career capital in 2025 to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025...

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council accepted the content of the delegates' opinions and at the same time requested the drafting agency and relevant agencies to urgently revise, supplement and complete the content of the draft to be submitted to the 29th Session (special topic) of the 17th term, 2021 - 2026.
