Musician Ha Chuong is one of the musicians participating in the call for song compositions about Tuoi Tre newspaper on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the newspaper's founding (September 2, 1975 - September 2, 2025). The song Red - Young - Saigon, composed by him, won second prize.
Tuoi Tre serves readers everywhere
The identity of Tuoi Tre newspaper "Red - Young - Saigon" was cleverly incorporated by the male musician into the song and chosen as the song title. In the new era, the identity of Red - Young - Saigon still retains its value and needs to be preserved and promoted further.
"Chuong once intended to write a song about Tuoi Tre , so when he received the invitation to compose, he immediately accepted. This is an opportunity for Chuong to express his love for Tuoi Tre . The happiest thing for Chuong is not that the song won an award, but that the song was used, and that the staff and readers knew and loved it. This gives Ha Chuong more energy in his composing career" - Ha Chuong shared.
Musician Ha Chuong also included the slogan Serving Tuoi Tre 's readers in the song, expressing Tuoi Tre's spirit of dedication to readers.
" Tuoi Tre reporters are passionate with the fire of their twenties, struggling with the country in every new page they write. Tuoi Tre serves readers all over the world, with steadfast faith and love in everyone's hearts" - quoted from the song Red - Young - Saigon .

Thanks to Tuoi Tre newspaper
Musician Ha Chuong said that when he wrote the song Red - Young - Saigon , he transformed himself into a Tuoi Tre reporter to feel and understand all the hardships and sacrifices of the reporter team to get quick and exclusive information. They are not afraid of difficulties or hardships in fighting for justice.
He chose the modern dance genre and youthful melody for Red - Young - Saigon , expressing the exchange and connection between generations of reporters. The song is like a thank you from him and the readers to the Tuoi Tre newspaper team, with admiration and respect.
"Through this song, Ha Chuong hopes to energize Tuoi Tre newspaper reporters, make them love the newspaper more, stick with their work, and help Tuoi Tre develop more and more" - Ha Chuong confided.

Musician Nguyen Van Hien, a member of the judging panel, highly appreciated Ha Chuong's song Red - Young - Saigon for its melody and lyrics. "The song expresses the climax very well and can be easily popularized for performance," added musician Nguyen Duc Trung, a member of the judging panel.
"After participating in Vietnamese Songs nearly 10 years ago, Chuong was not interested in songwriting competitions. However, when I received an invitation from Tuoi Tre , I wanted to write a song about the newspaper to thank Tuoi Tre for supporting the reporting of my artistic works. The song I won was not necessarily the best, but it may have coincided with the criteria of the organizing committee," musician Ha Chuong confided.
