Awarding 102 "Support to School" scholarships to new students in Da Nang

The total cost of the scholarship program is more than 1.6 billion VND (not including travel, accommodation and gifts from the program), sponsored by the "Support to School" Club of Quang Nam - Da Nang, Universal Alloy Corporation Viet Nam Co., Ltd., Bach Duong Mang Den Co., Ltd. and translator Nguyen Do An Nhien.

Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND in cash; including 3 special scholarships worth 50 million VND for 4 years.

3 new students received special scholarships worth 50 million VND for 4 years of university study.

Along with that, Nestlé Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored gifts for new students, Vinacam Scholarship Fund - Vinacam Group Joint Stock Company sponsored 3 laptops for new students with special difficulties; Vietnam-USA Association English System sponsored 10 free foreign language scholarships for new students with difficulties.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Anh Tuan thanked Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Quang Nam - Da Nang "Support to School" Club, and the donors for supporting thousands of young people in the city to overcome difficulties, nurture their dreams of university and have many opportunities to develop in the future, contributing to the construction and development of their homeland.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper's 2025 "Support to School" scholarship program is for 1,000 new students with difficult circumstances nationwide with a total cost of about 20 billion VND (not including organization costs; souvenirs, school supplies for new students...).

Each scholarship is worth 15 million VND for new students with difficulties and 20 special scholarships for excellent new students, with a total value of 1 billion VND (each scholarship is 50 million VND/4 years).

In addition to 102 new students with difficult circumstances in Da Nang city, the "Support to School" program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper for new students with difficult circumstances is also organized and awarded in the following regions: Central, Central Highlands, Southeast, Mekong Delta; Northern mountainous region, North Central and Red River Delta.
