*Managing gasoline prices down for 7 days
The Government has issued Decree No. 80 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95 and Decree No. 83 of the Government on petroleum trading.
Accordingly, the time for managing/announcing gasoline prices, according to Decree 80, will be shortened from 10 days to 7 days. The time for managing gasoline prices will be implemented every Thursday.
*Steel prices have not fluctuated for more than 2 months
Steel prices today recorded, except for Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel increasing price by 100,000 VND/ton for construction steel coil, other steel products remained unchanged in price.
Specifically, Hoa Phat steel, D10 CB300 ribbed steel bar is priced at 13,790 VND/kg; CB240 rolled steel is at 13,430 VND/kg, down 100 VND.
*Gold is approximately 71 million VND/tael.
Today, DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 69.65 million VND/tael for buying and 70.75 million VND/tael for selling. At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 70.10 - 70.65 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
*Co.opmart subsidizes 5,000 essential products
The subsidy program applies to nearly 5,000 essential products, helping customers save up to 50% of their spending budget, taking place at 800 points of sale nationwide in the Saigon Co.op system.
*Prices of Christmas items this year have not changed much.
Hanging items such as ribbons, bows, and stars cost 20,000-123,000 VND/product. Christmas trees cost 200,000-10 million VND depending on size. Of which, Christmas trees, strings of lights, and hanging items such as balls and ribbons are still the most purchased items by customers.
